Gary Thornton started Apex HVAC & Air in 2005 after 12 years as a lead technician for a large HVAC franchise. He'd watched that company upsell unnecessary parts, send undertrained techs to difficult jobs, and charge emergency rates that felt more like price gouging than customer service.
He launched Apex with three rules: show up on time, be honest about what's actually wrong, and charge a fair price. That philosophy — old-fashioned as it sounds — built a company that now serves thousands of Colorado Springs families every year.
